Being Alive Unto God: Assurances of Our Salvation

“God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.” - John 4:24. “But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by the Spirit that dwelleth in you.” - Romans 8:11. This is about assurances of our Salvation. Being Alive Unto God Our personality + God’s LIfe within + Our Deepening understanding of God - - work together to become how we relate to God, but all must be of worship of Him “in spirit” and worship of Him “in truth”. Jesus is The Truth. He is also Eternal having no beginning and no end. He is God and Lord of All. He gives Eternal Life. He is a Life-giving Spirit (NKJV), i.e. “a quickening spirit”(KJV) - 1 Corinthians 15:45. Will everyone worship Jesus?  One great final day, Yes! He is continually recognized every time He is revealed. To reveal means to uncover. So when all things pass away and we are all befor

Leaning Upon Christ, His Governance Alone and His Peace

“...and the government shall be upon his shoulder.” - Isaiah 9:6 There is a sweetness in Christ Jesus awaiting us, which we find when we begin to learn to lean upon Him. It often takes circumstances that are difficult which stir us from our own comfort to find this place of leaning on and trusting the Lord Himself. Today, I responded from my heart with joy to this verse as an intimate element of my life and heart, finding Christ Jesus as my governor, my personal overseer to care for me. My leaning upon Him, even upon His arm, His shoulder, as I walk. (*Sigh!) There is a yoke we find in Christ that He calls us to enter into, a covenant place yes, a place of teaming up, of cooperation with Him, and it can be resultantly found by way of a challenge to us in our emotional disposition of how we handle life. There is a crossing of our will to get into that yoke. There is an equating of letting Him lead as an oxen team has a lead oxen and a following oxen; guess which

Sincerity (and the Wages Of)

Sincerity (and the Wages Of) I have a good heart and I would say, so do you. We see ourselves as helpful maybe, or giving. And we also have chosen our friends and people we live around day to day out of our values and perspectives. Many people are goodly and have good hearts and souls. As we are believers on Jesus, we find out that our goodness will never earn the grace of God to save us. And if we continue to learn the word of God, we find that God’s grace includes imputing the righteousness of Christ Jesus to us. This is more than changing our record of sin to spotless, which is justification. And this is not the same as sanctification, where God deals with our hearts to continue to choose Him as we walk with Him, and lay many things upon the altar of sacrificing unto Him all that we are, all our members: tongue, hands, feet, etc. This is also not the renewal of life, healing of our souls, or even the miraculous resurrection life that brings us into being spurned to do

THE STRENGTH OF MY CALLING

We are called to be as Jesus is. I speak to the believer on Jesus, who knows some scripture on the matters I will touch on here. I just want to share... What shoes we have to fill, what a walk we are called to, what a placement we are in, to be born into such a high calling! What can compare to this calling? It is higher than us! It is broader than us! It is realer than us, realer than anything we have ever known! We did not author it and we cannot control it. In fact, we have no way to figure it out, except by walking with the Holy Spirit sent to us. How then shall we fulfill this calling? Jesus said what's flesh is flesh and what's spirit is spirit. So there is an elemental category of what things are. Remember the law in the old testament, how there were physical elements that had meaning, and God called His people to participate in celebrations of miracles past, such as the crossing of the Red Sea, known as Passover. They did pass over. And then the celebrati
